DWT-IV Type Motorless Turbine Roof Fan: suitable for exhaust and ventilation on the roofs of commercial buildings and industrial/mining enterprises (light steel structures).

Lightweight, high-strength, and corrosion-resistant

The fan impeller can be made of different materials based on the corrosiveness of the working medium, including ABS (engineering plastic), FRP (fiberglass reinforced plastic), and aluminum alloy plates. For centrifugal fans with high pressure requirements and high rotation speeds, the impeller surface undergoes special galvanization and plastic spraying corrosion treatment, which not only reduces the overall weight but also ensures excellent corrosion resistance.

Stable operation and long service life

With small rotational inertia and high dynamic balance accuracy, the fan operates smoothly. All performance indicators meet internal factory control standards that exceed industry standards, ensuring long-term stable operation.

Wide application range

The fan can be manufactured into explosion-proof or anti-corrosion types as required, suitable for conveying and exhausting flammable, explosive, and corrosive gases, as well as resisting aging in harsh environments.

Aesthetic appearance

The hood component is made of FRP with an imported gel coat resin film, featuring a soft curved transition, elegant design, and strong practicality. It can also be customized into a steel hood treated with galvanization and plastic spraying (PVC) according to user needs.

Service conditions

Medium temperature shall not exceed 60℃.

The gas must not contain excessive viscous substances, with dust content ≤ 100mg/m³.

For high-temperature media, Shangyu Ventilator's fire-resistant high-temperature smoke exhaust fans can be adapted into roof fans for special applications.

This product has passed inspection by the National Compressor Refrigeration Equipment Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, covering items such as air volume, air pressure, flame retardancy, electrical conductivity, explosion-proof performance, and wind resistance. It is supervised by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of China and holds the National Industrial Product Production License.

Overview of DWT-IV Motorless Turbine Exhaust Fan

The DWT-IV motorless turbine exhaust fan utilizes natural wind power to drive blade rotation. Centrifugal force generated by operation creates air flow. Due to the extremely light and thin blades, even weak wind can make it rotate. When the turbine spins, it generates lift force to suck up and discharge hot air, flue gas, and humid gas below the turbine. As air is extracted from the turbine, a low-pressure area forms directly beneath it, creating a chimney effect. With continuous turbine rotation, fresh outdoor air constantly flows in, achieving natural ventilation and cooling.

The DWT-IV motorless turbine exhaust fan requires no electricity, operates continuously, and is highly energy-efficient with no noise or sparks. It features arc-shaped blades: the gap between each blade is filled by adjacent blades during rotation, throwing large amounts of rainwater out along the circular nodal line, while small amounts flow down to the roof along the blades without entering the turbine. The rotating turbine also blocks rainwater by directing air flow through blade gaps, ensuring wind and rain resistance. The exhaust fan uses fully enclosed ball bearings and lightweight stainless steel or aluminum alloy blades, making the whole machine light-weight and long-lasting—typically with a service life of over 15 years.
